A comment from a witness regarding the unfortunate events that took place on August 17th:

"To whom it may concern,

I was one of three witnesses concerning the dog that was shot on Monday the 17th.  The thing that caught my attention was the cattle running frantically. I then saw a dog running and jumping and biting at the cows. The dog cornered one cow. There were voices raised by the other witnesses, but the dog was not turned. This went on for 5-6 minutes. I then witnessed Ron call the owner of the property to notify him of the event.  The animal was shot in the process of cornering and attacking this cow. There was nothing in the line of fire or beyond.  I never saw anybody for the first few minutes after the shooting.  Ron was sick to his stomach in having to shoot that dog.  They later called the sheriff to notify them of what took place.  Later the owner of the dog drove up in a red pick-up truck, he got out and met Ron alone in the front yard. About that time I walked up and I heard the dog's owner say  " I realize my dog was in the wrong." At this point Ron was being very apologetic, asking the young man "is there anything I can do?"  I know Ron has experienced many mutilations and deaths to their livestock because of dogs. This was a tragic event and am sorry for the loss."

Sing with all your heart because: Psalms 95:1 - 2 reads ,"O come, let us sing unto the Lord: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.  2. Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms."

Lift your hands and praise God aloud because: Psalms 134:2 reads, Lift up your hands in the sanctuary, and bless the Lord."  Psalms 100: 4 reads, "Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name. "

Pray together because: Acts 4: 24 reads,  "they lifted up their voice to God with one accord." Acts 12: 12 reads, "where many were gathered together praying."

Clap your hands to the Lord because: Psalms 47:1 reads, "O clap your hands, all ye people; shout unto God with the voice of triumph."

Anoint with oil and pray for the sick because: James 5:14 reads, "Is any sick among you?  Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord."

 Proverbs 12:9 (KJV)
[He that is] despised, and hath a servant, [is] better than he that honoureth himself, and lacketh bread.

Where no wood is, there the fire goeth out: so where there is no talebearer, the strife ceaseth.

As coals are to burning coals, and wood to fire; so is a contentious man to kindle strife.

The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly.

Burning lips and a wicked heart are like a potsherd covered with silver dross.

He that hateth dissembleth with his lips, and layeth up deceit within him;

When he speaketh fair, believe him not: for there are seven abominations in his heart.

Whose hatred is covered by deceit, his wickedness shall be shewed before the whole congregation.

Whoso diggeth a pit shall fall therein: and he that rolleth a stone, it will return upon him.
